- I turn the TV off, with the Zbox still on. After turning the TV back on, the image won't display unless I reboot the zbox.
- I sleep the zbox while connected to the TV, but the zbox will not wake up from sleep nor will it respond to anything other than pulling the power plug and restarting.
I know the sleep issue is related to the HDMI as I don't have any problems with S3 sleep or with turning off the monitor when connected to a regular monitor or when connected to a newer TV. I've installed the latest BIOS and drivers. The machine is running:
Win7 x64
8GB RAM
Samsung 830 SSD
It has the same behavior on two TV's, both older and likely 1st generation HDMI (1.1?). A Mitsubishi WD65732 DLP (circa 2006), and a Samsung DLP (HL-R4266W). This basically makes the system unusable, as I need to be able to either turn off the TV or sleep the zbox or both. Please advise.
