I recently purchased a Zotac GTX 560 Ti 448 and did not receive the advertised Battlefield 3 coupon. I spoke to someone in Live Chat about this issue last week and was asked to provide my product's serial number and a copy of the invoice from the purchase, both of which I e-mailed to two Zotac employees. I also registered my product on the website. I wanted to know if I could have the code e-mailed or pmed to me on my Zotac account so I can begin installing. I realize that it has not been too long since I provided my information last week, but I have seen posts by others who also did not receive the coupon and tried to get it for awhile unsuccessfully.

Thanks

Hi onder652,

The retailer that you purchased the product from should have had the BF3 coupon included. The coupon is an actual physical voucher included with the packaging. These vouchers or codes are NOT sent directly from us. I would recommend that you speak to your retailer, and if the product page stated that the BF3 coupon should be bundled at your time of purchase then this is definitely a case to take to them. If you need any further assistance please let us know.

I have contacted NewEgg about this as well. I don't quite understand the reasoning here though. It is easily visible and advertised all over this website that free Battlefield 3 coupons will be included with new GTX 560 graphics cards. One would think that if the website of the actual company that produces the product enthusiastically advertises a product as including a coupon, it would stand by those claims. I understand that the product was shipped to me by NewEgg, a separate entity and retailer from Zotac. However, NewEgg is listed as Zotac's primary partner on this website, so I assumed that Zotac would be able to handle this issue. Not only was the product listed as including a BF3 coupon on NewEgg, as I said before it is also easily found on this website. Perhaps Zotac and Newegg should remove the many advertisements that state a BF3 coupon will be included, as I have seen via product feedback a great number of similar issues cropping up recently. I also realize that an actual physical voucher with the BF3 code was supposed to be included in my product's packaging. However, I read in another post on this forum that a user with the same issue as mine was messaged his promised coupon as well as mailed the physical copy. It's not my intention to be an unreasonable or impatient customer; I just don't understand how a company can so actively advertise a coupon as a bonus of one of their products, regardless of retailer, and then deflect the issue. I have been cooperative and provided all information that shows that I purchased a Zotac product that was supposed to include a coupon. I am happy with my graphics card, I just would love to use it to play Battlefield 3.

I understand you saw another issue similar to yours, but you are referring to something that was purchased directly from our website. The customer in question from that issue did not receive a BF3 coupon with their product, which we should have sent. We have since remedied that issue by sending it to them. The bottom line is that this is not a case that should be compared with as the purchase was made directly through ZOTAC USA. Yours was purchased via Newegg.

The reason I ask that you contact Newegg first is because it may be a simple error made by them. There is no deflection of any issue here... I am advising that because you already have all the information relevant to your order that it would be much simpler to take the effort to make direct contact with Newegg. It could be some shipping error from them that ZOTAC would have no idea about- someone sent the wrong box that has no coupon, for example. It is pretty standard procedure to first approach the retailer in which you purchased the product from to resolve an issue such as yours. If the retailer cannot solve it and recommends approaching ZOTAC about it, then I would gladly step in to assist you. Anyway, I would have suggested otherwise if your original post made mention of contact with Newegg.

Was Newegg unable to help you? What was said by them? If you'd like you can private message me the details and I can try to resolve this for you as fast as possible.

After many unsuccessful attempts to communicate my issue to NewEgg Live Chat, I called them and I was told that it is a Zotac issue, as it is your companies promotion. That is what NewEgg told me. Please help me out, I just want to play the game I paid for.

I have a very similar issue. And i totally understand your point. WHY does the manufaturer advertise an included game on their website but not put it in the package? Then pin the issue to the reseller. Makes zero sense, because i suspect that most resellers have no idea this promotion is going on. With the market thats out their i dont expect the resellers to keep track of a promotion from one manufacturer.

ZOTAC please give us an answer!
