replace wireless adapter?

i have a zbox ID41plus and as many zbox owners im diseapointed about the performance of the atheros AR9285 wifi adapter.i got it to work with windows 7 but only at 65Mbps.As it doesnt seem to be able to get higher speed i was wondering if i could replace the atheros with another wifi card,and wich card would be suitable

Why not just buy a USB wifi adapter if you are displeased with the wifi built in?
Your #1 Zotac fan.

so i bought a sitecom 300N X5 dualband wireless usb adapter,i noticed my internet speed hassent changed its still arround 700kb,while i get 1800kb on my laptop,wich has the Atheros 9285 build in,when i turn on xbmc and stream a tv show dvdrip it buffers alot or it stops after some time,anyone got a clue?

Did you make sure to disable the wireless on the ID41?

i disabled the atheros buildin the ID41 in windows,in windows 7 i see the usb adapter is on the zbox is connected to my network,network speed is about 5MB wireless and my download internetspeed is only 700kb max
