Why is it that Zotac has not released any updated bioses? EVGA, Gigabyte and Asus have all released updated drivers to help with stability(as well fan speed unlocks) for the GTX 560 Ti as well as the other 500 series cards. EVGA released another BIOS revision to the 560 Ti cards today to help with Battlefield 3 stability. Does Zotac chose not to develop a product further once it is out?

Zotac is in the works of a BIOS update...they said it will be released soon...they actually quoted me and a few others, either last week or early this week....so hopefully sometime soon

I will be severely disappointed in Zotac if they keep delaying this update....I'm going to hold them to this week....they have already disappointed me in quite a few aspects....from a service stand point...I'm not blaming them to the hardware side of things...because these are nvidia reference based cards...which Zotac doesn't really have quality control over....but as a partner of Nvidia, service is what makes or breaks a company

I think if they did not work on the new firmware, they would not say that the BIOS release next week, it makes no sense. Will be hoping for the best =)
But if it is not so suddenly, and the BIOS will not be released, please otpishites about it, what would people do not hope, and if anyone else wanted to pass the card back to the store to do it now rather than waiting until the sitting will bios that does not come out ...

I just subscribe, I always have zotac cards... and I just changed GTX 275 by the new GTX 560Ti AMP. And I discover that this card is buggy under the new game (Modern Warfare and BF 3).

On ASUS and gigabyte I see that there are BIOS UPDATE, who is available to customers!

At this point no worry...zotac must have one too !!! BUT nothing on the website... no problem I will send an email to the support.

The next day (today), there is a new mail from the zotac support (eurotech)...

Dear Customer,

It is likely problems with the game itself. Check nvidia drivers are up to
date, there is likely also to be a new driver release this week with fixes.
Wait for game updates also.

Kindest Regards,
Eurotech Team
Craig

So now I just want to ask refunds for my new card, and in the future to not buy anything from zotac to my company !

from the US support: no bios updates yet. they are making one for your specific model, but no announcements yet as to when it will be released, the first ones that were released were for the 570/580 cards.

For me I just ask an exchange.... I go where there is fixed bios !

The BIOS issue is still being worked on; furthermore, ZOTAC Europe does not represent the views of ZOTAC USA.

Any updates? Still twiddling my thumbs here tryin g to play Skyrim for more than 20 mins at a time before i crash my card. Seems like this company just doesn't care about the needs of its customers. Please resolve this issue ASAP. Id hate to encourage others not to buy your product, but with delays like this its hard not to.

I got an answer from Europe Support.
They said that the problem is the game and not the card. They also said that Craig brother had an issue with his AMD graphic card as well so it's not only Zotacs.
A well, my bad for contactig the and not USA support.

I contacted the live chat support for Zotac yesterday and was told that the GTX560 bios was still being worked on. I asked the tech if I could flash my card with an EVGA bios from an identical GTX560 Ti OC. Basically, he told me that there is no reason it shouldn't work since all cards are the same reference design, but to do so at my own risk. I then POLITELY asked him why it was taking Zotac so long to release a BIOS update for "basically the same card" that EVGA released a BIOS update for a month ago, and commented that they could have simply checked EVGA's BIOS update to see what they did if Zotac couldn't figure it out. He obviously didn't care for that statement as he immediately disconnected from the chat without saying anything further.

I for one am nothing short of disappointed with Zotac. I was under the impression that they were going to step up and take the place of BFG as far as quality and care, but I can see that isn't the case. This BIOS issue is such a load of crap. Then I read elsewhere in the forums that people are having to wait 30+ days for an RMA, and that's IF they have their receipt. Why should you have to have your receipt for a card with a lifetime warranty? That's the whole point of registering the item to begin with. Is Zotac really that backed up with replacing cards or are they just that slow? Judging from the BIOS update, I'll vote for slow. I never waited more than 10 days for an RMA to be filled by BFG in the past. Zotac trying to sell their cards with a lifetime warranty is an absolute joke. Who can honestly let their pc be down for 30 days?

Personally, I am done with Zotac. I'm unloading both of my GTX460's and my GTX560 to the first sucker on Craigslist and replacing everything with EVGA. They actually care more about their customers than just getting their money.
