I am glad that this worked out for you. Is 1000v what you were raising the voltage to before you used the bios update to become stable?

Thanks. At 0.975v to be stable. (in nominal value was 0.950v)

P.S. Thanks johnnyw for providing bios.

The BIOS Version on your Screenshot is exactly the same as on mine (GTX570 AMP! unflashed), but my core voltage is 975mV!?

Hmm ... I do not know why. Have you already bought a card with this version of the BIOS or you sent it support Zotac? Send me an email please your BIOS -> imaysky87@gmail.com or upload to sharing -> http://refile.net/ Thanks.

P.S. In GPU-Z from the right on the version, click the icon and save your BIOS.

If Zotac support sends you the bios wants to say that the warranty void? I think not.

bios mailed.

I've bought this card with the BIOS, about two weeks ago. But I got Blackscreen, sometimes with green squares in BF3 and Crysis2. PC nearly never crashed, ALT+TAB always works.

Thanks for the bios. Strange, but open your bios through NiBiTor, I discovered that in your BIOS in 3D mode is written 0.950v rather than 0.975 as you wrote.

Duke, I am as clear as I can possibly be when I been up for 20+hrs.

Also what I shouted is Most likely true, If you update your graphics card BIOS from a NON Zotac Bios upgrade, You are voiding the warranty.

Been like this for years with many other businesses.

If I am wrong then I am wrong but its better safe to ONLY Update Graphic card BIOS not Driver BIOS from Zotac.

you should read before you post....this is regarding a zotac bios flash...not a non zotac bios flash...and more importantly, you should read before you shout things in huge bold letters

Would you please drop it already, you are still not getting the point while at the same time getting it.

It does not MATTER if its regarding a Zotac bios flash, Because there was some chatter about using a Non zotac flash I saw earlier that I recall but I may be wrong But I am just putting it out there that it voids the warranty. Accept it and move on. Please and stop with this useless arguing and get back on track. Please.

Thankyou

I am simply trying to Prevent people voiding warranty, Any way possible.

Want proof?

Taken Directly from tech support.

We do not usually send video card BIOS file nor recommend updating it. It would void warranties. But for 580 AMP and 570 AMP, we have exemptions

We do not give out BIOS update for other models, on 580 AMP and 570 AMP, we have exemptions.

So my point is still Clear, Updating bios for zotac cards VOIDS Warranty they just have exceptions only the the 580/570 Amp! edition cards.

I see duke is still fighting the good fight. Keep giving it to them!

Is there any news on 580 AMP! bios updates? & if when I go to resell these things I have to mention, "Oh by the way, since Zotac customer support is crappy you will have to manually increase the voltage on these cards in order for them to work at advertised clocks"

haha, what did you expect? if you see some of forcefedflesh's post, you just have to put them in their place

http://www.zotacusa....6413#entry16413

heck, look at this thread...he's defending zotac and he doesn't even know what he's talking about

http://www.zotacusa....i-be-concerned/

then look at this...he has the slightest clue....he's suggesting the guy to run 45% fan speed UNDER LOAD...are you kidding me? then he goes on to say his own cards run at 25 to 30% UNDER LOAD ON AUTO FAN....seriously? do you live in an ice cube? he claims that hes in room temp, but its hard to believe those cards are that cold in just room temp with an auto fan profile...he did post screen shots so I'll give him that...but it's hard to believe it at room temp, and using auto fan
