SWEET!!!! I'M excited!
Yeah, I was watching the picture over and over trying to figure it out in my head, then I read about whats in the room so I subtracted boxes.
I made a logical guess and win!

Logical guess is around 2000 going on box dimentions wich I had, and as well as room dimentions, I removed 60% of room since thats how much was taken up if you fill the whole room completely it would be around 2000-3000 boxes, they mustve not put them under the desk ect. so that

ruined my count... But grats... Really wanted this too! funny thing too, I spent 4 hrs on the math so 2400 shoulda been the correct guess as few others did the same and had around 2400 boxes in a calculated form. Im still mad though lol. Idk why im dragging this comment on its prolly cause im fuming at how little boxes there were XD

I think somebody measured wrong somewhere, cuz with the dimensions given, plus average sizing of the furniture and keyboard w/stand, you could've easily fit how many I listed. Either somebody measured the room's dimensions incorrectly (which I'm guessing is such, easily), or the furniture, such as the cabinet and desk, are horrendously larger than any I've ever seen (though the desk looks average-sized in the pic, which leads me to the mis-measurements theory).

Sucks that I didn't win it, but grats to the guy who did.

Exactly what I said, I help build houses once in awhile and as you saw I said I took out around 60% of the room putting it to 2400 around. And I used my zotac gpu box wich is their standard size to do it as well to figure it out, Somethings really wrong here if 60% of the room is tooken out and only 1078 fit lmfao, idk why it just seems way too low of a number but all in all it was a fun dissapointing in the end contest XD especially for people who over guessed by like 20 or so lol.

I wish I saved the sheet of paper I did my horrid math on! I don't remember what my original answer was, I just know it was over 1000. I thought that sounded ridiculous so I went with a smaller number. Guess it wasn't so ridiculous after all! :P Congratulations to the winner!

Glad to see how much work/effort you all put into your guesstimates! Calculating the volume of the box off your own ZOTAC product boxes was pretty resourceful - but alas, the 580 Infinity has a limited edition gift box which is larger in volume than normal.

Thanks to all the participants and congratulations, again, to Dbleic01!!!
