These is concerning the ZOTAC Z68ITX-A-E.

Why in the BIOS can I not change the TurboBoost settings for each core? I find it hard to believe the Zotac is promoting the Z68ITX-A-E board as being so versatile, but restricts access to such basic adjustments of the unlocked processor, like being able to adjust the TurboBoost. I'm not looking for amazing overclocking results, just the ability to tweak the processor beyond the default what adjusting the multiplier can do, which is not much.

I believe the next z68 bios has been slated to include some Turbo Boost adjustments, but I have not been informed of what they've changed.

Well when already there will be new Bios for GTX 460 Zt-40402-10p which will allow to include vetilyator on 100 % or are the developers of Zotac only able to place produkceyu to the market and podderzhyvat' does not want ? A long ago already all producers of takii as Asus Palit Gigabite etc produced the update of bios for the vidiokart If vashy developers consider that they umnie !!! and not skhotyat podderzhyvat' the products and not skhotyat to produce the update of Bios for GTX 460 that such firm needs to be closed !!!! but not to sell bad products and then them not podderzhyvat' and only to feed with services by poddershkamy clarifications of query etc Anymore I your produkceyu will not buy and all other kotorie sdes' ochutiles' does not advise to take a product without technical support

I apologize but this thread is about the Z68! :(

But to sidetrack; I believe our team is pushing for a request to change to 100%. No guarantees.

This thread is not just about the Z68!! In fact Z68 was late to the party! Eye in the Sky has been pointing anyone with BIOS-related issues to this thread. He wanted a single thread for ease of keeping track of such issues.

1. On Intels i5-2500K- and i7-2600K-CPUs it's only possible the multiplier while turbo-mode is activated. I think, it would be easier to overclock, when Multiplier is cangeable without actvited turbo-mode, too.

2. Issue: It's not possible to lower the vcore on Intel i7-2600K - everytime I tried it on stock-speed the system hangs on boot in windows. On i5-2500K-CPUs it's possible without any errors. Seems to be a bug.

H67-ITX motherboard
Windows 7 installed on an SSD connected to SATA-3 port
2 x 500GB HDD on SATA-2 ports

When I configure the two HDDs for RAID 1, Windows won't boot.
It gets to displaying the Win7 logo (the swirling coloured boxes) then reboots.
Next time it goes into safe mode and tries to repair, the repair fails and the box reboots again - back into repair mode.

The only way to get it to boot is to put the storage system back into non-RAID configuration.
This is using the latest BIOS and drivers from the posting date.

I doubt this is a BIOS problem. I have a 320 GB 2.5" and a Samsung ODD on the SATA-3 and 2x 1 TB RAID 1 (4 1 TB drives) on the SATA-2 running WHSv2 without any issue. You might have some luck in updating your Intel drivers to the latest from Intel's website.

Thanks. That gives me more hope.
I'll do full update search this evening.

Hey, I just joined up on the forums. I recently got myself two GTX 580 AMPs...I'm also interested in seeing a fan unlocker to 100%. If eVGA can do it, I don't see why Zotac can't.

IMO, a cooler card, is a happy card. And I am sure most of us who seriously game, don't mind the extra noise, as most of us wear high end headphones while gaming. Please Zotac, come out with a fan unlocker.

Hi dukenuke88,

I've answered a similar question before in another thread. To explain, NVidia is the one that sets the maximum fan speeds and eVGA is an exception to this rule. I know many people are requesting a way to unlock the fan speeds and I've sent the relevant threads to the higher ups; however, at the moment, I've heard of no updates on this issue. However, I definitely understand your concerns and I hope to have a better answer for you soon.

Hello Tell me, Bios files for video card, well, for example for the GTX 570 AMP! will be published on the website http://www.zotacusa.com/downloads or they can be obtained only by mail from the support? Just when they were published, many would not have to write here to see prices of their problems and ask for a new version of BIOS for your video card and could just go to the site to "Download" and download whom some have. Thanks.

The question now is whether there are plans to upgrade the Intel option rom in the bios to 10.6 which supports bigger arrays. This board is still quite new, so I hope there are plans to do so.

It has been about 6 months, and there is still no update on this? It is really disappointing that we are still having this problem. I have a 4x 1 TB drives stuck in 2 RAID 1 volume, even though I could reconfigure it to a RAID 5 solution (3 TB total).

Really, Zotac has no plans to do anything for this board which is only about a year old? Especially considering the last BIOS update was 8-9 months ago... This is really disappointing, I guess I will not consider Zotac in future and recommend it to my friends to avoid it because of poor after sales support.
