Hi, I own about twenty ionitx mobos. I do keep them pretty busy looking for software defects with my own simulations, to be honest, but was curious if folding could be done from linux. Right now I install Ubuntu Server on them.

Folding@Home can be done from Linux. Please check out their installation guide for specifics.

Is there anyone monitoring these threads still, users and/or support?

I've been folding for about a year now and am trying to get to 1mil before I switch to a new team.
I recently bought a Zotac 520 for my secondary PC to fold with and that's how I got here.

This is my first Zotac card and was curious if anyone thinks it should be running 80C hot on full load.
My EVGA 9800GTX+ runs 65-70C full load.
Also, I thought this might be an upgrade from an old PNY 8500GT it was using... and while the win7 score for gaming graphics went from 5.5 to 6.4, the desktop graphics score went from a 4.9 to a 4.7.
Is THAT usual? lol.

Spec wise, I definitely believe it to be an improvement(fermi) which is why I bought it in the first place, but...
I find that watching anything in 720p seems fine, but 1080p is definitely choppy. The 8500GT didn't have this issue.
Am I doing something wrong or is this normal for this card you think?
If that's the case, I'll simply use this card on a single core machine i use for diagnostics... which i hardly use now.

Anyways, maybe someone will respond in the next... couple months. heh.
