Folding at home is a great thing. Hopefully everyone that can will join in, while our wonderful governments and the politicians lack of scientific understanding continue to hinder research into things like stem cells.

Hello Zotac,

I am very happy to see you support the Stanford Folding @ Home Project.

May your Video Cards become popular in this effort as I am sure they will.

I am looking forward to see how fast you rise in the ranks.

I could care less what eggxpert thinks about me switching teams, imho its not the team that's important its what we're doing that's important to me.

I just heard about this and have started folding. I have roughly 20,000 points in other F@H teams.

Why I fold
In the past 3 months I have been folding for eggxpert.com and gained 725,000 points with my meager setups.
Sad that my points have to start over here but it happens and the points don't really matter to me it's what I'm doing that matters.

Suggestion for this tread:

If this thread could be split into three sections, one for SETI@Home, one for Folding@Home, and one for GPU Grid Information.
That way as this forum and Team grows it would be easier for Team Zotac members to find information for the subject matter that is of interest to them. :)

The reason I ask is that you should run one smp on a dual core and two on a quad core.

On a quad core should also run FAH SMP Affinity Changer

Also with a quad core process you should also run the Windows High Performance Clients

I'm switching over from Eggxperts folding team. I don't have much to run... Only a PS3, a 9800gt, and a e8400. If I had another motherboard i could setup another system.. Happy folding!

PS: and for some reason I can't post here using IE8.. everything shows up except for this text box

The Zotac team is currently 1319 of 160799. Not bad for only 5 members. And we're still gaining ground at a pretty good pace.

Hi, I own about twenty ionitx mobos. I do keep them pretty busy looking for software defects with my own simulations, to be honest, but was curious if folding could be done from linux. Right now I install Ubuntu Server on them.
