Account Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for assigned accounts in specific territory or channel.
- Must strive to reach monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
- Manage and facilitate purchase orders from customers.
- Maintain a strong positive relationship with assigned accounts.
- Be the initial contact window for customer questions regarding sales or technical issues.
- Manage customer inventory levels.
- Write clear and be about to present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales reports.
- Manage and stay current on customer payment schedules and credit management.
- Develop and execute sales promotions and strategic marketing campaigns.
- Perform monthly product forecasting for each account.
- Conduct customer sales and technical training.
- On occasion, attend trade shows.
- This will be a primarily inside sales position, but will require about 15-25% travel. Must be able to travel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year university.
- 2 years experience in PC components industry required.
- 2 years experience in distribution channel preferred, OR 2 years experience in retail channel strongly preferred.
- Technical background (C.S., E.E., M.E. or other computer related majors) will be helpful but not necessary.
- Ability to quickly learn the products and be able to communicate to others regarding the products.
- MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook proficient. This is a basic requirement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to details.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Professional attitude and demeanor at all times.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Fluent English required.
- Ability to speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, or Portuguese a plus.
Sales Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls regarding sales and marketing issues.
- Type sales orders, invoices, credit memos, and other documents.
- Perform logistical duties regarding sales orders, such as arrange for LTL freight pickups, and work with shipping department to facilitate smooth sales orders.
- Arrange marketing materials and product samples for trade shows and other events.
- Support Account Managers and Sales Managers with sales duties.
- May perform as backup to accounts when Account Managers are traveling or out of the office.
- Other sales and marketing duties that will be assigned.
- Occasional travel required. Less than 10%
- Willing to learn about the technical details regarding products, and a general willingness to learn the industry. We want to train someone who can eventually handle accounts and become an Account Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- MS Excel, Word, Outlook proficient. This is a basic requirement.
- Experience with SBT accounting software a plus.
- Strong attention to details and organization.
- Strong communication skills.
- Professional demeanor.
- Punctuality and a sense of responsibility.
- Fluent English required.
- Ability to speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, or Portuguese a plus.
